Change and Transformation
Monash University is a leading global university renowned for its research, innovation, and impact. Recognising that its greatest asset lies in its people, Monash is deeply committed to fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth for all staff.
The Leading at Monash program has been ambitiously tasked with developing the top 800 global leaders at Monash University. As a leadership journey spanning 4 months including 7 in person workshop days, Tonka Learning was invited to lead the day 7 conversation on change and transformation. Designed to ensure a robust learning experience, the program is structured around the principles of ‘Engage, Know, Inspire, Lead, Embed’, with each phase crafted to build a cohesive and impactful learning journey.
As the culminating experience within the ‘Lead’ phase, day-7 change and transformation is positioned to support leaders as they embark on an application project, which allows participants to embed their learning in real-world scenarios.
In preparation for leading an adaptive challenge initiative designed by participants, concepts explored include change leadership mindsets – from hero to host, generative leadership and the role of generative and planned change, the complexity and purpose of stakeholder engagement.
We look forward to continuing our partnership with Monash University and contributing to their ongoing efforts to foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
